National Law University (NLU) Tripura

The esteemed National Law University, Tripura (NLU Tripura) was established to improve legal research, teaching, and advocacy in India. The northeastern state of Tripura is home to NLU Tripura, which aspires to be a center of excellence in legal studies by encouraging a full comprehension of the subject from both an academic and practical standpoint. The goal of the institution is to produce knowledgeable legal professionals, scholars, and policymakers who can promote justice and the rule of law both domestically and internationally. Programs Offered by NLU Tripura

Under Graduate Study Program

The National Law University of Tripura (NLUT) offers a five-year integrated undergraduate degree in B.A.LL.B. (Hons.). The curriculum seeks to provide students with a strong legal foundation as well as a comprehensive understanding of the social sciences. The program integrates courses in political science, economics, sociology, and law to provide a thorough understanding of law in its social context.

Post Graduate Study Program

For individuals who wish to work in legal teaching, National Law University Tripura offers a one-year LL.M. degree program. The University offers a one-year LL.M. degree with concentrations in business law, constitutional law, and international arbitration.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)

The Ph.D. program at the National Law University of Tripura was launched in Academic Year 2023–2024 with the agreement of the Academic Council. For those who wish to pursue careers in academia, research, or as upper-level legal professionals, the NLUT Ph.D. program offers a rigorous, research-based curriculum. The program places a high priority on contributions to legal scholarship, critical analysis, and independent research. Much attention has been paid to interdisciplinary techniques that allow various concepts from the sciences, technology, and social sciences to be integrated.

NLU Tripura Admission Process

Based on valid CLAT results, students get admitted to all programs at National Law University Tripura. Applicants must have valid CLAT scores. applicants must also possess a valid degree from an accredited university with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 45% (or 40% for SC/ST applicants), as recognised by the government.
