Tripura Civil Services Exam

In order to run the state government effectively Tripura recruits civil servants on regular basis. The job in
civil services presents better opportunities for career advancement in Tripura. This gives an opportunity to get involved in the framing as well as the implementation of the Government policies. Students in large number are opting to join civil services. By cracking one of the most prestigious exam one can serve the state as Collector, Superintendent of Police, Welfare Officer Grade-I, Horticulture Officer, Forest Officer etc. The Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) is responsible authority to conduct state civil services examination in Tripura. The TPSC conducts exam, publish result and recommends name of selected candidates to Government of Tripura.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Maximum: Any candidate applying for the Tripura Civil Service Examination must be at least 21 years old to be considered eligible. The upper limit for applying to the examination is 40 years. However, there are age relaxations as well under the Tripura Civil service eligibility criteria.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree from a recognized university in any study discipline.

Number of Attempts: There is no ‫.limitation

TPSC Selection Process

The TPSC TCS selection will be held in three stages namely the Preliminary examination, the Main examination, and the Personality test. These will contain 200 marks, 800 marks, and 100 marks respectively.
